Dan’s experience includes strategic work for the Marine Institute, co-authoring SmartOcean Ireland in 2010, creating the SmartOcean Innovation Exchange in 2012, serving as a founding director of SmartBay Ireland and as a Commissioner of Irish Lights, and mentoring a range of ocean technology entrepreneurs.
Meet Dan Maher
Founder of Nua Venture since 2009 and formerly Head of Technology Strategy at ACT Venture Capital from 1997 to 2009, Dan combines engineering, international technology management, venture investment and hands-on leadership. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master in Engineering Science from University College Dublin
